Investing in programs that expand access to healthcare education and strengthen the workforce where it's needed most—from inspiring individuals to discover healthcare careers to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of those already practicing.

The Covista Foundation, based in Chicago, IL, is an independent 501(c)(3) public charity that supports charitable initiatives in healthcare education and workforce development.

As part of Covista Open Doors, a multi-year impact commitment to build and sustain the healthcare workforce in the communities that need it most, the Covista Foundation advances these same priorities through its grants, scholarships and emergency financial support.

Our focus is simple: inspire young people to pursue healthcare, remove barriers that stand in students' way of graduating and support the mental health and wellbeing of healthcare workers.

Student Support Programs

Student Emergency Care Fund

The Student Emergency Care Fund provides emergency financial assistance when unexpected challenges threaten to derail students’ progress. Funded through the Covista Foundation, this is an innovative emergency grant program that extends non-tuition relief to students across Covista’s five institutions, ensuring that a single setback doesn’t affect their long-term healthcare career.

Covista Foundation Scholarship

The Covista Foundation Scholarship program is designed to break down financial barriers to help students achieve their healthcare ambitions, with an emphasis on serving high-achieving students in financial need. Thanks to the generosity of private donors, scholarships are awarded to students every spring.
